Is there a way to specify the default settings of a table, so that it will be 50% in width for example?
The Insert Table button on the toolbar is a handy way to insert a table. Although it isn't apparent, changing the settings in the Insert Table dialog box sets the defaults.
Choose Insert Table... from the Table menu. Change the settings to the desired default values. Click OK. The next time you insert a table using the Insert Table button on the toolbar the table appear with the specifications you set.
If you just want to set the default settings without inserting a table, follow the directions above (which will insert a table) then click the Undo button on the toolbar. FrontPage will remember the default settings.
